Bosh Sports Data Sources

Source provenance and freshness rules
Coverage varies by sport, market, sportsbook, and provider entitlement. Bosh should show unavailable data rather than imply complete coverage.

Market odds and results

The current production market-data integration uses PropLine for sportsbook odds and event data. Bosh stores short-lived raw quote observations plus compact opening/current summaries for researched markets so line movement can survive raw-data pruning.

Sportsbooks

Book availability is determined by the connected market feed and the market actually returned for an event. A sportsbook name on a research card is tied to a stored observation when possible. Bosh does not assume every listed provider offers every market at every moment.

Research evidence

Research-board evidence can include direct structured data and public-web research. Evidence records retain source metadata, timestamps, stance, and source links when available. Multiple publications repeating the same underlying projection should not be treated as independent models.

Public betting splits

Ticket and handle percentages are displayed only when they are present in the stored research snapshot. They are context, not a standalone signal of professional betting activity.

Freshness

Quotes are timestamped. Bosh distinguishes fresh, recent-but-needs-verification, stale, historical, and unavailable observations. Price verification matters because sportsbook markets can move or suspend quickly.

Database and infrastructure

Supabase stores Bosh research, accounts, alerts, model runs, decision history, and derived market summaries. Railway hosts the production web/API and scheduled refresh services.
