Responsible Gaming
Practical guardrails
- Decide a fixed entertainment budget before wagering and keep it separate from money needed for housing, food, bills, debt, savings, or emergencies.
- Do not increase stake size to recover a prior loss. Chasing losses can turn ordinary variance into financial harm.
- Judge the research process over meaningful samples. A win does not prove a bet was good, and a loss does not automatically prove the research was bad.
- Use limits on deposits, time, and wager size when a licensed sportsbook provides them.
- Take breaks when betting stops feeling recreational or begins affecting sleep, work, relationships, mood, or finances.
- Never borrow money or use credit intended for essentials to fund gambling.
How Bosh is designed
Bosh Sports does not auto-place wagers. Research rankings, model probabilities, expected value, Kelly outputs, alerts, and portfolio/exposure tools are decision-support information only. Bosh intentionally preserves WATCH/PASS states, downside cases, stale-price warnings, correlation exposure, and immutable losses rather than presenting every game as a bet.
Need help?
The National Council on Problem Gambling operates the National Problem Gambling Helpline. Free and confidential help is available 24/7. Call or text 1-800-MY-RESET, or use the NCPG online help resources at NCPGambling.org.
The helpline is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger or crisis, contact emergency services or 988 in the United States.
Legal responsibility
Sports wagering laws, minimum ages, available sportsbooks, and responsible-gaming requirements vary by jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with the rules that apply where you are physically located. Bosh Sports does not determine wagering eligibility.
